Protective Trailer Coupler Lock with Swivel Head

The Master Lock 2866DAT offers two receiver locks with swivel heads: one measuring 1/2 inch (13mm) and the other 5/8 inch (16mm). The push-to-lock locking mechanism on the receiver lock allows for easy use – simply push the lock body firmly onto the pin and remove the key. Additionally, the Weather Tough seal and water-tight cap provide extra protection against moisture and dirt.

The receiver lock boasts a 4-pin cylinder, enhancing pick resistance and offering increased security and theft deterrence while towing. The 1/2-inch trailer hitch locking pin is rated for up to 3,500 lbs (Class I and II), while the 5/8-inch pin is rated for up to 10,000 lbs (Class III and IV).

The locking head rotates 360 degrees, allowing the keyway to be conveniently positioned forward. The push-to-lock locking mechanism ensures a secure lock every time, with the user only needing to push the head firmly onto the pin and remove the key.

To protect against the elements, the product includes a snap-on cover that provides weather resistance and prevents dirt and moisture from entering the keyway. The four-pin cylinder also adds an extra layer of security to prevent lock picking.

The 5/8-inch (16mm) diameter pin fits 2-inch (51mm) receiver tubes (Class III/IV), while the 1/2-inch (13mm) diameter pin fits 1-1/4-inch (32mm) receiver tubes (Class II). The usable length of each chrome hitch pin lock is 2-3/4 inches (70mm).
